You told me the other night just how you felt,
it hurt like i had been whipped with a buckled belt.
but the truth had to come out as you were feeling so low,
but you said another thing i should know.
you said that you still love me and always will,
thats all i need to hear but still.
i have an empty feeling now your gone,
now i can tell where the love came from.
it was because of our ages at the moment,
the names you were called by your friends and parents.
but I'm coping more everyday,
i never let my feelings drift so far away.
you no longer haunt my every thought,
the feelings i have for you are now a different sort.
this is the end of my short story so i would like to say,
i now now the cost of love and what i must pay.
to see you happy and so we can be friends,
and thats the way the story goes in the end.
hello i would like to say thanks to my ex boyfriend tom he has been my inspiration for most of my poems me and him have split up this time for good but we will still love each other forever because we have taught each other what the meaning of love is or at least thats how i feel and i would like to thank all you people who have read and voted and commented on my poems . i love you tom goodbye xx
