For Sonja (part 31)

by ntv650   Jan 11, 2004

Someday I'll be freed from this light that you bear on me.
I'll dream of a live that isnt as hard as this one seems to be.
Then I'll find someone else to guide my way through life.
I've been told to stop hiding, but everytime I stand up you beat me back down again.

In every way, in every sense, you have already defeated me.
Conquered my life and everything that I hold dear now has your name written all over it.

I will not, shall not pursue you any longer for I cannot find reason in my desire.
But one law of love is that it can linger without any real purpose.
So now I'm going to stop my crying and hope that you catch me before I fall.
Because I know if I ignore, my walls will eventually crumble at your presence.
