Girl who is different

by Izzie   Feb 2, 2006

She sits by the window lonely
Scared her feelings
She cant hide anymore
Now she cant find her dreams
No friends to call
No one to love her no one to care
She walks alone
On a broken down road
So far from others
Yet so near to not belonging
She's different
Cause she wears all black
Her hair is fire engine red
As she walks the chains jingle
Against her thighs
The world turn around her every day
She sits by the same window
Her tears run down her cheeks
Watching couples and families pass
She bites her lip to stop from screaming
She has found still no one
No one that understands her
Living her life in shadows
Sometimes they race
Slide right passed her
Will she ever find someone?
Can she ever stop hear heart from breaking?
She has always dreamt
Of walking past the walls that keep her in
Who will take her hand?
Dare to be close
Dare to care for her
Even thought she is different
And lost even thought she has no dreams
Dreams to continue on her life with
Are u the person that can take her hand?

Not bad at all. I really did enjoy the poem before this. You are getting a lot better and I hope to be reading more of your work.
