Meatball Mania

by Poetvoices   Feb 3, 2006

One day, I was cookin' spaghetti.
I was waitin' till it looked good and ready.
I made homemade sauce and basil too.
OH NO! No meatballs! What to do?

I decided to go to the store and buy some.
Just my luck. They were all gone.
I decided to try a different grocery store,
but the manager said, "Sorry, hon. All out. Gotta order more."

I was depressed, but I gave it one last shot.
I stopped to ask my friend, Kayla, if SHE had a pot.
"Sure!" she said. "You should've asked before.
"I have plenty! In fact, I bought out two grocery stores!"

Well, that was that. It was done and quite old,
but when I got home, my spaghetti was cold!

LOL! hahaha this poem is funny, I like it, but it's so short. I like the rhyme scheme and I don't really have any advice considering, I don't usually go to this section, but I did upon request.
