I Saw Her There...

I saw her standing on the corner
Of first Avenue
She wore all black
and she never looked back

I asked her name
She looks away
I ask if she will be mine
She says "not in your life-time"

I walk away
Looking at her
the one I can never have
I watch her as she turns and faces me
My heart begins to race

I watch as she gets closer
I open my heart to her
I watch her pass me by
Just to kiss another guy....
