No more painful memories
Though it was pleasing to remember
No more crying at night
Though you were worth each tear

No more jealousy to be felt
Though loving you was good to know
No more heartbreak
Though it was depressing to let go

No more debating on who's right
Though the quarrels were memorable
No more keeping empty promises
Though most of them were unbreakable

No more listening to empty talk
Though the sweet nothings were convincing
No more staring at you
Though it's you that I'm missing

No more disappointment
Though I'm used to being let down
No more wishing for your presence
Though the joyous moments I can't count

No more pain
Nor broken ends
No more love
Just plain friends

    Beautiful!! Very well written. I really liked the line "No more heartbreak, though it was depressing to let go" and the 5th stanza. I could relate to those. I loved it!!! Keep it up! 5/5
