To steal a moment in time, Now wouldn't that be grand. To still have and to hold you, But that wasn't a part of his plan. In an instant we lost you, Before we knew it you were gone. With only a moments notice, "Dear God, I didn't have him long." Memories of you surround me, Everywhere I turn, you're there. Your smiling eyes still haunt me, The pain of my loss I can't bear. I never got to say good-bye, Never even got one last kiss. Your hair, your eyes, your voice, your touch, Are some of the things I truly miss. But what I miss most of all, Is just having you here. Every though and every memory, Bringing more silent tears. *Wrote for my son, who died in 2001 when he was 4 years old. Comments and Votes are appreciated* -Tracy Bradshaw
