In This Letter

Today, with this pen
I write you a letter
In it is when..
We first found each other

It was my curiosity
To find out who you were
I wanted to know your name
The rest is just a blur

I almost never smiled
The sky was never blue
nothing made sense at all
till the day I met you

You brightened my days
And illuminated the nights.
I will try and keep you
with all my will and might

I know I've said Love
far too many times
But this time I really mean it
Sometimes I make it rhyme

I can't even measure
How much I really care
I hope we stay together
For our lives to share

Sometimes I ask the lord
If the future will be alright
I ask him to protect you
With all his godly might

I really wish the best
No matter what happens at all
Just remember something:
I'll help you when you fall.

I'll do anything for you
I'll even take a life
I just hope one day
I'll end up as your wife
