Pen and Pad.

A pen and a pad,
This is all I ever want,
It’ll show you all,
Just what I see,

I'm not delusional,
And I’m not insane,
I don't feel down,
And I don't hurt inside,

I've never really loved,
And I've not been hurt,
Here I live in peace,
And have a loving home,

But never is my life perfect,
Everyone has problems,
So I'll take this pen,
And place it on the paper,

I'll pour out my heart,
In a pretence of hurt,
And wonder what it is,
That really is there,

I don't think it's true,
But I see these images,
And I just have to describe,
To the whole world,

Because what I see,
You see it haunts me,
Not stopping ever,
Dogging my footsteps,

Only when I have,
Written out its tail,
Will it rest away,
From where I stand.
