Locked

by Jennifer   Feb 4, 2006

Locked deep inside
dark secrets that I hide.
the past won't go,
so to you I'll show...

My arms are a battlefield
in which the knife won't yield.
the scars are the proof
to hide it I've become a goof.
my eyes are a long untold tale,
of a life I've failed.
the jokes are a cover up,
for a mind that has had a enough.
my emotions are a bottle locked up tight
afraid to open is you'll run in fright.
my heart is a cellar full of hate
passionate to find my fate
my brain is a big black room
in there you'll find a cocoon
In the cocoon you'll finally see
the dark mysterious me
