Nothing in return

All i feel is anger now
it inhabits my soul and mind
you don't deserve my respect anymore
and this understanding i hope you find

I helped you find the person you are
I gave you sympathy full of heart
You never took what i said seriously
felt like you used me from the start

The attention that you craved,
and it's sympathy you feel you need
all your insecurities found inside of you
are bigger than a flower from a seed

you received more than you could give
and this upsetting heart, you left a burn
no longer feels respect and pity,
for this soul got nothing in return.
