Not So Strong

Just another pointless night

For the girl who lost her smile

Maybe things will soon get better

Or maybe not for awhile

She lies in bed at 2am

Tears fill in her eyes

She doesnt want to deal with this

Shes done with all the lies

She has been through so much

And no one really knows

She hides her hurt and sadness

Hoping it never shows

She pretends to be someone else

So no one will ever see

Then she sits at home and cries

Cause shes someone she never wanted to be

She knows what its like to want to end things

To want to take her own life

So many ways to do it

A rope, take pills, a knife

She knows things arent right

And she doesnt need a little help, she needs a lot

But shes afraid to ask for it

Shes not as strong as she thought
