Time glides by, As a gentle river flows. Memories fade away, To where, no one knows. Light fades to black, As twilight begins to fall. Time lapse until dawn, Seems so immensely small. Dreams entice my mind, As I rest in glorious silence. Away from stress and anxiety, And all the pointless violence. My tranquil body, Lays motionless in my bed. With head on my pillow, Legs under sheets of red. As light pierces My window, Darkness is swept away. And thus has begun, The start of a new day.
