Mistakes

We get hurt
Time and time again
But how it effects us
Is entirely up to us

We have choices in love and life
We have to choose wisely
Otherwise we make mistakes
Mistakes that we learn from

If we didn't learn from them
We wouldn't be who we are today
Some of us don't get the chance to learn
Some mistakes have deadly consequences

Some pay for their mistakes
Some don't pay for their mistakes at all
Life has a way of getting back at you
Without you even knowing it

Mistakes aren't always able to be corrected
The ones that can be corrected are easy
The ones that can't be corrected you have to live with
