My Prayer

Lord who has made me, hear my cry, she did nothing wrong so i ask you why.
She bleeds on the inside and even sometimes out, she says that i do not know what I'm talking about Listen to her cry, hear her sweet pain. Make her stop crying make her refrain. Let not be lonely, let her be loved. She may not believe, it is unheard of. Take her in your arms, kiss her sweet face, save her sweet spirit, i will take her place. Stop her from hurting just make her see, her time has not yet come, please stop her suffering. It pains me dear God, to see her cry so I ask sweet spirit. why oh why.She may not love you as deeply as some, thought she is still hurting, she and you will become one, take her in your arms lord, kiss her sweet face,
She does not deserve this, let me take her place.

This poem was for my best friend who almost died of blood loss from cutting herself, she was sent to a psychiatric hospital and shes better than ever
