The Play

by TASI   Feb 5, 2006

I would like to show you a sample
Of a true frustrate love story
Which might be a good example
But this time with no glory

A story played on theater
With lots of love and romance
By two actors but no director
To stop any arguing by any chance

Here the curtain opens
And here the audience clap
Not knowing what will happen
Not knowing it's a trap

The play started with a lot of passion
Showing how love can't be any better
Showing something no one can imagine

"I will always love you no matter what it takes"
"Oh please promise not to leave me"
"Don't worry my love, I won't allow your heart to break"

Suddenly the play became worse
Because there is no conformance
Was it because of a curse?
Or was it the lack of performance?

The actors didn't know what to say
So they decided to stop acting
And just finish the play

They ended the love story
By blaming fate
Showing that they couldn't help it
Pretending they can't tolerate

The actor visualized something in mind
Before the lights are off
And everyone is blind

"When the curtain falls
And when my heart can beat no more
I wish you have tasted my agony
Of wasted feelings on such tragedy"

And now is the moment
For the curtain to fall
A moment that can't be envisioned
By anyone with an accurate precision

The curtain fell
The audience went
The hearts repelled
But no one felt

No one knows how it feels
For a broken heart
To get back and heal

No one knows how cold the hearts will feel
And how dark the nights will be
How hard it is to forget
Something i will always regret

And in the moment of my demise
I will cry
Not because I lost you
But because I wasn't wise
