Pent up

SO pent up wanna
cry but don't cause
I am a man and
men don't cry

my feels feel frozen
or broken looking about
wishing I could
shout out what I
need to say but the
words always come
out the wrong way
look away I don't want
you to see me like
this ignorance is bliss

I am far from perfect
I am likely to melt down
and explode
I carry this heavy
load these burdens
just get to be more
than is bearable I
wish to share what

I have learned in this
short life of mine with
others but I am a
broken man and I
shall not with stand
another assault
from this thing called
life I wish I didn't let
you down you deserve
something better .
