Game Over

by Passionate   Feb 6, 2006

You play this game,
but now it's lights out,
what are you gonna do,
ask yourself how?

what are you gonna run to,
which direction do you choose to turn,
who are you gonna love,
where does the true fire burn?

deep within,
or outwardly and cold,
blue fire or a deep gold?

you told her all that you thought,
but she turned you down,
so what's your game plan?
go home to cry, scream, plan a way to die,
but before you do it turn on the lights,
find your fire that's calling you outside.
see what's really wrong.

so he left you,
your mom calls you names,
instead of loosing it all,
remember what i say.
move over & make way.
the real reason for your pain is no where to be found,
because pain is only a feeling burning in your heart.
it becomes only what you allow to get you down.

so your never excepted,
pushed you around,
what you can't take it?
you haven't really hit the ground.
pick yourself up,
only you can hold your weight,
pick yourself up,
don't let your fire become their hate.

before it's game over,
ground zero,
score none,
look into the mirror and let a new fire burn.
define who you are,
to no one but yourself,
and never let your own fire burn out.
