Poems...so many around these days.
These poems....they are okay,
They didn't use to grab me
the way they do today.
But now i have Learnt so much more,
i have Learnt not to relate
and not to always write about my date...
to think a little more about my mates.
I could never understand...
Why people would stay up so late
just to write a poem.
Some i find boring,
yet they all tell a story.
Mostly about how boyfriends are a pain
and how they could never love again.
E.G -All these times he lied
All these times i cried.
I do understand mistakes...
but why do we feel the need to relate?
I used to read these poems,
Girls saying, He treats me like crap.'
Then i would think,
well duh don't take him back.'
But its not so easy when your in love.
Now i understand.....
now I'm the one
staying up til midnight,
Writing down what i feel,
Because now it's real.....
I'm in love and i need to express
what i FEEL.
