My Favorite Thing

This is a poem I wrote a really long time ago but I just found it again recently. As you can probably tell it was from when I first started writing.

My eyes have been opened
I see everything in a new light
I'm at peace with myself
I'll no longer fight

You gave me something
I never knew could exist
No more wishing on stars
When we're apart

You mesmerize me
With a flash of your smile
Your sexy voice
Drives me so wild

When I dream of you
I never want to wake
It feels to good to be true
My feelings are not fake

Look deep into my eyes
I will not turn away
There should be no surprise
I wish I could see you everyday

My favorite thing is chocolate
Wait! That's simply just not true
Your personality's a magnet
My favorite thing is you!
