Reflection in the mirror

Looking at her sadness
her eyes filled with tears
seeing the desperate look in her face
at least that how it appears

she always seem happy
with a smile on her face
but you have to look deeper
and you'll see her smile erase

looking into her eyes
which search for happiness
you'll see a never fading pain
and love that doesnt exist

looking at her jaded smile
which pleads for attention
someone need to reach out and help her
but do you think she sees anyone?

As I look at her willingly
trying to hold out my hand
so she'll know she's not alone
trying to tell her I understand

I cant seem to reach her
to let here know im here
trying to break through the mirror
but she turns and disappears
