You defeated my battle.

by Melissa May LEE   Feb 7, 2006

When just yesterday,
i thought we were okay,
till i heard the sound,
the loud pound,
the shattering pieces,
the pain eases,
when the world stopped around me,
it felt like i couldn\'t see,
i gasped for air,
it wasn\'t fair,
you defeatd my battle,
you broke my rattle,
i still cry cos\' of you,
this all wasn\'t true,
i still hear the telephone ring,
i still can hear you sing,
every little memory,
every little cup of tea
reminded me slowly of you,
we WERE two,
as the pictures squeeze,
my friends still tease,
of how we were perfect,
i think \' what the heck? \'
i gave up on love that day,
what eles was i going to say?

(c)opy right. illusions.
