Friends I beg you do not cry

by Nici   Feb 7, 2006

I know that I'm about to die
But friends I beg you do not cry
For I'll be in a wondrous place
Full of love and warm embrace
With angels sitting by my side
Watching you, full of pride
Bright daffodils will shine my light
Ever present, ever bright
The wind will catch on to my thoughts
Send them to you so they're caught
The stars above will write my name
Until we meet up once again

*I wrote this to myself after my Grandad died this week. I think it symbolises the messages he would want our family to know
