The way people think
its so ridiculous
yet so distinct
they are killing eachother
everyday
they are naive in so many ways
don't believe everything u see
things aren't always what they seem
that quiet girl u make fun of in class
goes home to a broken family and a trailer full of trash
u think that girl has perfect hair
she has cancer
it ain't even hers
so don't hate
don't discriminate
the world is going to hell
if we keep this up
so break out of the shell
become someone different
it makes all the difference
think before you speak and do
b/c all those things u never knew
influence the words we speak
and the thoughts we think
the information we drink
is polluted from government and misleading news
time to face the facts we already knew
stop fighting
ur just prolonging it by denying it
race and income levels
don't mean jack
we are all people
but common sense we lack
lets move forward
and not look back
fight the system
fight the power
in our victory
we will shower
let us prevail
against tradition
lets see the reaction
get going
stay positive and stop the violence
be part of a peaceful revolutionary movement
let us ban drama and stereotypes
don't get caught up in all the hype
stop following the trends
break through the cliques of friends
we will rebel against this
all these unwritten rules
are not set in stone
we carry the tools
change the way u think
and all the misleading information u drink
