Duties in Past Lives

by Dark Angel   Feb 8, 2006

Hold me in your arms tonight.
Just to ease it - all the pain.
Enough beings will end the fight.
Allow your strength and might to refrain.
As I lay sweetly in your strong arms.

While I look up into the stars,
I see the past lives we've shared.
The only powers we've ever feared.
Too many souls we have once cared.
And still an innocent's death neared.

The glory we together proclaimed.
Though modest and in shadows,
Nothing ever stayed the same.
Both fighting for lives of others,
Becoming well known and feared.

Their lives rested in the palm of our hands.
Save them? Or deny them the right to live?
Seeing in their soul - searching for light.
They might have won and been revived,
If they didnt give up on our existance and fight.
