Queen Mab

by mookoo   Feb 8, 2006

In a world where nothing is heard above a whisper,
and men sleep and dream idly beside ones sister,

a prophetical woman speaks of a new place,
echoing in mystery of that of a cloaked face,

called as Queen Mab in person remains exempt,
as it echoes in thoughts that dreamers do tempt,

granting you a solemn life of dreams and glory,
unfolding like that of the worlds greatest story,

she grants the menacing man his vengence,
as his dreams echo the shrill screams yet tense,

though some dream of the naked blue sky,
and a world of perfection in a desperate lie,

I see but a world where vampires dwell,
a living purgatory and destructive hell,

chaos and murder leaves a mad glint in the eye,
under my smoggy battle-scarred gray sky,

I worry that this is but my doom reflected as dreams,
but at such my soul dances and heart beams,

reflected through my deepest desires is malice,
taking part in this ever deepening crater of bliss...
