If I

by Bill Turner   Feb 8, 2006

If I could spend the rest of my life in your arms
My days and nights would be filled with love
Eternal sunshine and happiness would shine upon me
My life would lack for nothing, my heart would sing
Giving up material things, if you would wear my ring

If I give you my heart and soul to care for
Will you always take care of them?
Once given, I do not expect them back
Promising love for all your life
Not something that should create strife

If I love you with all that I am
Respecting you and treating you with dignity
Will you spend your life doing the same for me?
Trust me with your heart and soul
Together we will dance and spin on the brass pole

If I smile and laugh with you
Enjoying our days and nights
Will you travel with me the road of life?
Take your time you do not have to answer today
I know in my heart what you are going to say

If I treat you with passion and desire
Each day a honeymoon for us
Will you share your erotic heart with me?
Now is the time to answer, to make a start
Reach out and bless my love with your heart
