He found her lying in blood
With that note beside her head
He took her in his arms and felt for a pulse
And just what he’d though she wasn’t yet dead
He read the note
And wondered what he should do
He hoped she’d forgive him for this
But he couldn’t loose her yet, ‘I love you’
He called the ambulance
And they came right away
Maybe it was meant to be because
She was dead before she got to the hospital anyway
