Euphoric Haze

Clinging so hard
Nails crack and bleed
Revealing my blue inside
Forgetting myself for this one moment

I can't fall
Can't move
Must grab it
Eyes haze
Euphoric daze
Dreadlocks matted with beads of want
Its slipping
Going, may not come back
Face crumples in concentration

Fear
Need
Don't go
It's all that I've got
My knees buckle with this invisible weight
My foolish pride lets you slip away

Please come back
Your warm rays lighted me
You dried my tears
Your false
Come back please I need you
My ray of hope
