Senescence

by Jemma   Feb 8, 2006

Madly falling in love with demons
Collapsed bonds with friends
Feeling as if underwater
Coming up feeling the Benz

The eyes that are laughing through tears
The nose that inhale this gas
The arrow that’s straight through my heart
Senescence found me at last

For the wind is still by the ocean
And the sun gives only a shadow
The silence exaggerated
Before the winds must bellow

The stones are prickling my bare feet
The leaves are whispering now
The trees are barring my way
Senescence has found me now

Lastly the leaves have found ears
They twinkle under the moon
Starlight shimmers in front now
Senescence found me too soon
