What Happens? (Holocaust)

by Lauren Waszkiewicz   Feb 9, 2006

This is another poem i wrote about the Holocaust for English class.

What happens when you're all alone,
with no one there beside you?
What happens when no love remains,
and no one is there to guide you?

What happens when your fate is decided,
by someone you've never met?
What happens when the happy times,
Are the memories you forget?

What happens when innocence is shattered,
and wicked ways are allowed?
What happens when no one will help,
when no one is around?

What happens when the darkness,
is vindicated from the night?
What happens when is evil power,
modifies what is right?

    This is really sad :(
The holocaust really hits me hard - I don't know why - it just was the cause of immense suffering
