The Suffering

by Staind Soul   Feb 9, 2006

Pull out your razor blade,
They call out for you again,
With each slice your pain starts to fade,
But each drop of blood causes your soul to stain,

Give into what they say,
You force them to be your friend,
Go ahead add on to your pain another day,
Keep fueling the torment that will never end,

Just try to know that maybe tomorrow wont be so bad,
No need to paint your canvas with blood and tears,
I've been there once before, I know how life can be sad,
I've also tasted the cold steel of the same old fears

So continue your selfish way,
It seems your so intended on throwing gas on the flame,
So it appears that it don't matter what I say,
Just remember in the end you're all that's left to blame,

Ah, Chris, you've done it again. £>. This piece portrays such honesty. You're a great kid, and an amazing writer. I hope I assumed wrong at one part, where it made me think that you have hurt yourself. I hope you never do. I'm here for you, if you need someone. Great poem, doll. Take care.

    Much love,
