A caged angel

by Josh Barrett   Feb 9, 2006

No matter what,
I always say,
that love can be discovered any day.

Who cares what gender,
what place,
what age,
release the burden out of its cage.

Love will soon be in the air,
spreading joy everywhere.

But somehow once again,
someone locks the cage,
woman or man.

Breaking apart what was started, leaving everyone once again departed.

That is until,
I reach that far,
and release it,
from its caged jar.
