Mugged

I just wanted to celebrate new year,
instead of that you bought me fear.

You came up to me pretending to be my friend,
you robbed me bringing my night to an end.

Did you think that all you took was my bag?
just thinking about it makes we want to gag.

Is all you remember snatching my purse,
did you forget you left me needing a nurse?

Let me remind you, you broke my phone,
now I'm too scared to be left on my own.

Did you think you would be able to use my card?
now I'm too afraid to let down my guard.

You may well have taken all that i own,
but let me make this one thing known,

I am a survivor you did not kill my soul,
no matter what you did or what you stole.

My spirit will rise once again you'll see,
and i will try to go back to being
me.

This time i will be so much stronger,
what u did will effect me no longer.

When you are old and just about to die,
a lonely tear will fall down from your eye,

In your mind you will remember that night,
and how you gave this young girl a fright.
