Nothing but A Dream

by Tiffany Chu   Feb 9, 2006

Minutes have turned into hours
Hours into Days
Day's into weeks
Weeks into months
And Months into a Year...
And I still seem to fall...

Tears rush down my face as if it was
that moment that I lost you again,
I close my eyes and see your face so clear...
Reach out my hand to touch you one last time
Then I awake from this dream to realize
Your not there with me...

The touch of your lips still linger on in my mind
The way you smell still so close to me
Memories seem to fade,
but yet the love for you still stays

I want to feel your touch, feel the warmth
of your heart...
I sit alone in the silence of my room and all I can hear
is your laugh, the smile on your face appears
The look in your eye the last time
you kissed me is all I can see...

The pictures of you and I surrounds me
what use to be and what should still be
breaks my heart, increases the pain
and lets me know I'll never get over you

I reach out my hand to touch your face
to feel your warm embrace
to tell you that I love you, You look at
me and smile, and before you say a word
the picture dims, and the happiness
I feel for that moment is shattered
because having you again for that brief
moment was just a dream, a wish
that I've been making since the day
you walked away

Minutes have turned into hours
Hours into Days
Day's into weeks
Weeks into months
And Months into a Year...
And still my heart is breaking for you...
