I hurt myself

My mind begins to race,
My heart starts pounding,
Everything around me is spinning.

I slowly reach my hand up,
And grab the knife,
Like so many times before.

The knife digs in,
Deeper and deeper,
I begin to cry.

Screaming and shouting,
Why can't anyone hear me,
I hurt myself.
