It was a normal Friday
At least we thought was
Our school gathered together for mass
Thatâ??s when our Friday changed
We got news that a teacher and good friend was in a car accented
We sat in mass
And together
We prayed that he was oOK
We went on with mass
Thatâ??s when we got the news
That would change our school for ever
We then heard that he had passed away
He wasn't?t just a teacher
But a friend as well
He touched a lot of peoples lifeâ??s in different ways
He was always there to brighten your day
When we got the news
Every thing stopped
We were all in shock
No one knew what to say
It was too much at once
Our school came together
Not just as a school
But as a family too
We had lost a great man
That could never be replaced
Some people say that he was just
A teacher, father, bother, son, and husband
To the students and staff at Roger Bacon
He was much more
He wasnwasn't just a teacher or friend
He was part of a family
On Friday February 3, 2006
Bacon changed forever
We had lost one of the best people at Bacon
He lived life to the fullest
He always had a smile on his face
The students and staff loved him like part of their family
Never could we forget one of the best teachers at Bacon
He spent twenty-six year of his life teaching
Now we have to live with the memories of
The things he taught us
The good things he did
We have to help one another
Come together as a school
Help each other move on
We know it will not be easy
With out this grate man by our side
That Friday we came together
To support one another
After losing a great friend and teacher
We now live our lifeâ??s remembering
All the good things he did
All the times he was there
The times he made us laugh
The jokes that he played
He was a great man
That we will never forget
He will always be a part of the Bacon family
And a part of our lifeâ??s
