Losing..

Losing someone is like getting shot with a shotgun.

They leave because something stands between you.

Your heart is filled with sorrow and your soul is left to wonder.

Your mind is focused on horrible memories.

And your body is left to die and fade.

You see nothing, you feel pain, and you hear what hurts.

Everything around you is so dark and painful.

This is what you get when you put all of that trust into someone you love, they drop you and leave you to sink.

When you get to the bottom...everything is gone except the darkness of your heart soul and mind.

    I really like this poem its taking the pain of a break up and putting it into words that are realatable and understandable, its amazing how poets can do that, i really like this part:

    This is what you get when you put all of that trust into someone you love, they drop you and leave you to sink.

    When you get to the bottom...everything is gone except the darkness of your heart soul and mind.

    it sticks out in my mind, the sad thing is, when love takes advantage of you and the person that you think loves you steals your heart, and you would rather have your heart dropped into the darkness than have the feel of that one person crushing it with his bare hands, but anyways great poem, come check out some of mine!!:)
