I Killed Cupid

Tore off his pretty-puff wings
Burned all those mushy things
Shoved an arrow in his eye
Threw his heart into the sky
Stuck his bow down his throat
Covered the body with a coat
Shot him twice in the chest.
Hid his organs with some mesh.
Gave his fingers to the dog.
Hid his head in a hollow log.
Drank his tainted blood myself.
Placed his teeth on a dusty shelf.
Hung his spine on my unpainted wall.
Dressed it with a dirty shawl.
The holiday's got us in a tizzy.
Always keeping cupid busy.
But no more Cupid that's for sure.
No more him and no more her.
Valentines day is really stupid.
So, to put it simply, I killed cupid.
