What's Fair??

Heart felt murmurs whispered in my ear,
telling me you love me,
i suspect there was something i did not hear,
8months after it was all called off,
i am still in love with you,
my loving never stopped.now as my heart drowns in despair,
i long for you to see i am not katie,
come on now this really is not fair,
she left you open and bleeding after tearing out your heart,
you promise you wouldn't be like then,
i remember we promised from the start.
you told me that one day we would have another chance,
at first i did believe you,
but now i must take my stance,
they all say you have moved far and gone beyond,
your heart has left all days grow long,
to me left to drown in my heart bloodied pond.
now i want to leave the pain behind,
i see you are now angry,
obviously solice i will never be able to find.
drowning, slowly dying in my heart of despair,
come on now you know this is really not fair!
