Face up to the truth
face up to the lies
why can't you
hear our painful cries?

you laugh and mock us
and tell us how it used to be
do you think we're dumb??
do you think we can't see??

yeah we're a different generation,
yeah we've changed alot
why can't you see our dedication???
i don't want to be something I'm not

do you think we don't care??
about anyone else but ourselves
you treat us unfair
why don't you take a good look at yourselves??

i know we aren't perfect,
but at least we try,
do you see the neglect??
please, listen to our cries.

this poem is about every one thinking us teenagers are selfish, spoilt, rude, loud, every-thing, they need to be in our shoes!!

    Hi Jessie,
    Well, I can understand how it feels to be a teenager coz I was just one of them! you feel that you're under unfairness sometimes becasue you want to prove that you're not a child and can make your way through life but the problem is that some people don't give you the chance to be yourself and what you want to be.. It's okay dear! shortly you'll feel free from these nasty feelings. I wish you all the peace and tranquillity :)
