I is Dying Now

by The Wingless   Feb 10, 2006

Quiet, I is dying now,
The blood flows from my soul,
A kiss touches my forehead,
A life lost, a life gained,
I return to the sea.

Quiet, I is dying now,
I thought I could go on,
Living a large lie,
But now, the wound is deep,
Blood catches on my fingers.

Quiet, I is dying now,
Weeping for nothing,
Left to love the air,
The wind whispers to me,
The moon shines bright,
Blood stains the blades of grass.

Quiet, I is dying now,
I lost my world today,
The thing I had the most,
Is what I had the least,
I watched it go away,
I lost it with my life.

Quiet, I is dead now...
