Rain's Illusions

Rain pours down
Soaking into my skin
Healing my wounds
And the pain within

Thunder's in the distance
Along with flashing light
I don't care anymore
I'm trying with all my might

Sinking into mud
Hidden from the road
Trying to find a way out
Before I simply explode

Pain is building up,
Fighting is getting worse
Hurting more than ever
Trapped by life's curse

Blinded by tears,
Shaking from confusion
Everything I knew
Was just another illusion
