Sometimes i wonder

Sometimes i wonder
why people at such a young age are constantly thinkin about drugs, sex , alcohol and death? the other day there was a 5th grader on my bus talking about how her and her \"boyfriend\" where ready to have sex...and i just sat there wondering why people would want to give up such a precious thing at that age? there is so much to look forward to in life , so many ups and downs and laughter and tears..
how could someone feel so empty that they just think the world is an aawful place and just wanna take their own life away?how could someone not want to try to make something exiting and fun and beatiful of themselves yet choose to be a pot head livin in a old run down shack? i dont know maybe its just me..but thats just how it seems. people are so into the whole \"goth/emo\" look that they dont even see the real beauty , thrills , and colors of the world.
i just dont understand..
