Life's Sick Joke

by sami   Feb 10, 2006

She looks in the mirror
It's all the same
A poor little girl
Trying to play life's game

She tries on a smile
But it just doesn't fit
The mirror breaks into pieces
With her fist's angry hit

She just doesn't get it
What is life?
One day she'll grow older
And become someone's wife

But what comes next?
Will anything change?
In life's sick joke
Nothing is strange

The tears, like a stream
Run out of her eyes
Washing away
All of her lies

No one understands
What she's going through
She wishes for the day
To start anew
