I've lost my heart
And found it broken
I've heard the words
That were never spoken
I've cried some tears
that never left my eyes
I've heard the truth
Behind the lies
I've laughed sadly
And sadly laughed
I've confronted the future
And hid from my past
I've gotten mad over little things
And let the big things slide
I've broken the rules
Other's try to abide
I've pretended to be perfect
But i know i'm a mistake
I've gave others hope
When I lack faith
I've walked til i was tired
And ran til i couldn't
I've said things that's true
But i know i shouldn't
I've made people laugh
And other people cry
I've told people to never give up
And to always try
I've played the motivater
But never got it in return
These things are lessons in life
I must slowly learn.
