That is quite possibly the best dark poem i have ever read in my life. You should be exceptionally proud of this poem, and that compliment..believe it.
Mike, you seem like a really deep, thoughtful person..i love your writing and the personality that shines through is amazing...so i doubt that you have lost these things/people. However, feeling like you've lost them is just as bad..
