Cloudy, Rainy Day

by Raydeen   Feb 11, 2006

There were things,
they needed to be worked out.
I tried talking to mom,
but she began to shout.

I walked down the street,
got to my friends door.
Wanted to talk to her about it,
and then remembered her screaming wh0re..

Walked a couple blocks,
Felt so hated and denied.
Looked around,
but no, there was no where for me to hide.

So my arms were limp,
my head hung.
The rain started pouring
and those tears in my eyes, oh how they stung.

Walked into the middle of the road,
hoping a car would go by.
I planned to lay there in the street,
the car would come and I would die.

See, I fell to my knees,
I remember exactly where on the road I lay.
When you came and you saved me,
On that cloudy, rainy day.
