What are we fighting for

by alive in death   Feb 11, 2006

Is my war really justified.

cause i feel so worn.

to pathetic to turn and face you another day.

my hands show the signs of being clenched to long.

now they are like claws.

stretched out and long.

my face is screwed up in agony,

to observe every movement you make.

my eyes are losing their sight.

i don't think i can go on with this fight.

lets face it,
we don't want it to end like this.

we all want it to be just the way it used to be.

when i didn't know who you really where,

and you didn't know who i was really against.

so lets take our occupations and throw them aside.

we are getting old,

i can see it in our eyes.

we could be onto more but we sit and stare,

waiting for one or the other to slip up here or there.
