Before, During, and After

*This poem is somewhat similar to my poem 'When I Met You' with some of the same words but totally different*

I used to think i had it bad
that my life was upside down
but that was before i met you
you brought sunshine in my life
when i thought it impossible
you made me happy when i felt
that the world was crashing down on me
i felt safe in your arms
arms so strong, soothing, and comforting
that was when i had you
you broke my heart many times
and now that we're over
my life is crystal clear from you
i thought you wre the one for me
we're over now and i feel
we were never meant to be
i feel happy and energetic
and this all happened after you
